#SanFrancisco #Leftists blame Nevada citizens, #SecondAmendment for #LasVegas massacre

Guns are as baked into Nevada culture as rattlesnakes, sagebrush and slot machines.

It’s a wide-open, Western place where kids grow up learning to shoot early on and weapons laws are among the most relaxed in the country. Murders happen here, sure, but that hasn’t changed attitudes much when it comes to the right to carry a rifle or pistol anywhere and any way you want.

The question now is whether that may change.

In the wake of Sunday’s mass slaughter of 59 people here at the hands of a man who perched himself in a hotel suite above a country music concert with a high-powered arsenal — and apparently one that was fully legal — many Nevadans are loath to link the bloodshed to a gun-friendly culture.

#Leftist newspaper apologizes for mocking those killed and wounded in #LasVegas

A Vermont newspaper is apologizing to readers after publishing an offensive cartoon related to the Las Vegas shooting in its Tuesday print edition.

Under the heading, “Whatever happens in Vegas…,” the cartoon depicts dozens of bodies strewn across the ground. The cartoon appeared in the print edition of the Bennington Banner on Tuesday and was quickly criticized as depicting those who were killed Sunday night in Las Vegas while attending the Route 91 Harvest festival.

An apology online identified Randall Enos as the artist behind the cartoon. Enos’ work is distributed by Cagle Cartoons, a California-based cartoon distribution company.

#CNN doubles down on mocking #LasVegas shooting victims

CNN’s Jeff Zeleny inexplicably pointed out Monday after the Las Vegas shooting that many country music fans are likely Trump supporters.

Shortly after Trump delivered prepared remarks to provide solace to victims of the deadliest mass shooting in United States’ history, CNN asked Zeleny, a senior White House correspondent, to analyze the speech.

Zeleny said he found the speech to be “pitch perfect” but then asked people to “keep in mind” that many country music fans are Trump supporters.

#CBS executive mocks the victims killed and wounded in #LasVegas

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook.

“I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Later Monday, CBS announced that Geftman-Gold had been fired.

Psychopath kills more than 50, injures 200 on the Las Vegas Strip

A psychopath white guy with a gun opened fire on an outdoor country music concert from a Mandalay Bay hotel room late Sunday, killing at least 50 people, injuring more than 200 and sending the Las Vegas Strip into chaos.

The massacre is the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

The suspect, 64-year-old Mesquite resident Stephen Paddock, was killed by police on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, Sheriff Joe Lombardo said early Monday.

Rot in hell.
